About

I set up Frantic Makes Perfect Blog because I have anxiety and I thought it would be a nice outlet to talk about my mental health journey as well as my personal development story.
I consider myself a book hoarder but recently, I have turned to the ‘dark side’ aka Kindle/Audible due to my long drive to and from work so now a lot of my new book collection are digitised. I’m a big crime junkie from listening to podcasts to watching documentaries to reading that genre. I’m a fan of anything in fantasy, sci-fi, horror, thriller, mystery, dystopian – just as long as it’s got a good story, I’ll be up for it.

I’m a food enthusiast, I’m one of those people who take photos of their food before I dig in even though I’m always hungry. You’ll usually hear me say “I’m so hungry, I’m going to die” or “I’m so full, I can’t breathe” – when you’re my friend, you’ll cherish the in-between.

When I’m not working or hustling part-time or doing some activism, you’ll find me training in martial arts specifically Kickboxing or learning a fighting system called Krav Maga because punching/kicking plus throwing someone on to the ground and locking them in an arm bar is therapeutic for me.

I’m a paw-rent, mother of 2 dogs and I’m obsessed with pandas, otters, cats, seals, sea lions, sharks and elephants.

Last but not the least, I am forever grateful for my support system – my partner, my family, my partner’s family and my friends. I’m incredibly lucky to have their never ending love and support – they have kept me sane all these years.
